Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems
• Troubleshoot wiring, outlets, lighting, switches, and electrical panels
• Install ceiling fans, lighting fixtures, EV chargers, smoke detectors, and surge protection
• Perform service upgrades and panel replacements
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes
• Diagnose electrical issues quickly and recommend effective solutions
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and explain completed work
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete service reports and job documentation accurately

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential electrical experience preferred
• Knowledge of NEC and residential electrical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems independently
• Experience with remodels, new construction, and service work is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
